Posts: 8 03/31/09 9:59 PM	Tags : None Hey all, My name is Jarrod and I am 16. I have been fly fishing for almost 2 years and have been tying my own flies for almost 3 months. Right now I own an 8wt. and a 4wt. (with 3wt. line) outfit, and hope to have a 1 or 0wt. outfit within the next month. 95% of the time I fish my 4wt, yet I feel that a lighter weight rod would suit the creeks I fish better. Looking forward to being a member of this forum and soon catching my first fish on a true ultralight fly rod.

Posts: 8 04/01/09 4:19 PM	Thanks all for the kind comments. I live in Spring, Texas and mainly fish the ponds and creeks in the Woodlands. The bass in my Avatar came from Willow Creek, which is little more than a drainage ditch, yet it holds some nice fish. I have heard of 20lb. catfish in the creek and seen bass up to 4lbs. in it. In the spring, I have also seen good numbers of spotted gar and there is always good numbers of bluegill. I will post a report of the creek this weekend. Jarrod
