I just bought a Cabelas LST 7'6" 2wt for my light duty fishing. SE Idaho is loaded with Brookie Streams and many are lightly fished. This rod will
be perfect. However, there are some streams where such a rod is still too much....or rather too long. I just told my wife I still needed a 5' rod. She
just shook her head.
So here goes my question: What would you buy for 100 bucks or less? Some of these brush choked streams are nasty. I would have to crash through them with a lot of money in my hands. I've though about a TQR from Cabelas but I hear they are fast action. I really want a soft action rod. I have though about hunting down a glass rod off e bay. What about LaCross Rods from E Bay? Any others out there?
