Thanks Justin and Jerry!
She certainly is a talent - I sure wish I could do that - ha ha! Shes pretty handy with a 3wt, as well. |

Nice fish Barry! I think between you, Doug, Les and myself, we have the full range of Kettle Creek Riffle 'glass 3/4 wt's. Nice rods your builds look
very cool!

jdub wrote: j Thanks for the kind words about the photos and rod builds! Yep, for the money, I don't think that one can beat the "Kettle Creeks". Plus, they come in a wide range of weights and actions. Lately I've been fishing one of Phil's 6'-3", 3/4's, that casts/fishes totally different than his 6'-8", 3/4 (like the one that Les has). It's a little slower/softer than the 6'-8", but once I got used to it, It's become my "goto" light line rod.
Time is precious. Waste it wisely!

Barry,
Quite different from my recollection of the actions. Much slower. Les |

Thanks jdub. Funny thing is we are having below temps here in Ohio with winds from the north last 2 days. Winds from the north- don't venture forth
applied to me. Walked same stream today from 8 - 9pm and didn't see one carp. Usually can always spot a couple all summer. Skunked!

Cliff, I just now saw your post on the Wall of Fame. Great catch and that is one sweet looking setup! How to you like that XP? I've never tried the 2 wt
but I had a heavier rod and loved it.

jdub wrote: Thanks Jerry! It's not my biggest but defenatelly one of the more rewarding catches. It a tough place to fish but a Trout that size in that water made it a hall of fame catch for me Awesome thread by the way! Justin |
