Yes there was food and lots of it. Different materials besides glass, and ultralight. Here's

Jerry's focused on something. I think he's in a "food trance" 
This muddler was the ticket to catching tons of the smallish sandbass 
My glass 6'8" Kettle Creek riffle paired with a vintage Tahoe reel was my UL tool of choice Saturday 
Raleigh fishes a pool below Lake Whitney dam 
Bassackwards targets sandbass downstream from me 
I caught a tone of these small spots, and for a while I wished I had brought my TXL 00

yep, it was a great time. i will post up my report, soon!! i just got back from octoberfish, and we had a blast!!
Fly fishing is not the only part of the adventure!!
