Probably should not post this, but I can't help myself! I built two rods for trolling using e-glass forecast blanks that have been used to make fly rods
on the glass board. I put them to use at a local lake this weekend in the foothills of the Sierras in CA. No it was not flyfishing, but three pound trout on a
rod rated for 2-6 pound line is very sporting when fishing alone with no one to net them. The hot lure was a "hot steel" rapala. Just wanted to
share with the group and here is a picture of the catch. I had a tasty meal tonight with the wife! I will break out the fly rods next time, I promise! Bill
