I was asked to give a recipe for the dragon bugger. I was given one and came up with my own recipe.
Here are materials I used for the swap.

Hook: Daiichi 1270 size 8 - 12 any long shank hook with a bend will work.
Thread: Olive or black
Tail: Olive marabou, length of hook shaft and can add two to four pieces of crystal flash.
Body: Olive Rabbit fur mix- olive and I mix in some flash material like simiseal golden peacock.
Eyes: Spirit-river small mono eyes. Never could get the burning/melting of mono to work for me to make eyes.
Hackle: olive I use three to four wraps and then start dubbing toward the eyes again and making sure the hackle is laying down towards the tail.
Just do some figure eight wraps with the dubbing around the eyes. This is the only picture of the dragons that I have at the moment. I like to fish these using a sink-tip line at my favorite lakes hunting for trout. Have fun tying them. Bill
